Position- Part-Time High School Science Teacher starting with the 2017-2018 School Year

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university.

• A current and valid PA Biology 7-12, Chemistry 7-12, or Secondary General Science Teaching Certificate through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

• Additional Secondary Science Certifications Preferred.

• Reports to: Building Principal

• Terms of Employment: Days of service, length of day, salaries and benefits as outlined in current collective bargaining agreement.

To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that promotes student learning of concepts and skills; guides and encourages students to grow and develop; and facilitates the vision that every child will be prepared individually to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
